Hi, I’m Thomas, I’m a senior at Collegiate School in Manhattan, NY. I’m a writer and editor, and co-founder of The Dutch Report, Collegiate’s digital news and media platform. I’m also a reporter and editor for The Collegiate Journal, Collegiate’s long-standing (since 1932) print paper. 

My areas of focus include community issues, mental health, and sports. I’m a big believer in the importance of a free press, and feel that it is crucial to democracy and representation. I feel that this issue is increasingly critical in the realm of local news. Local news is often the primary and most accurate source, and helps us to build and sustain our communities. But these days, it’s often overshadowed by big media conglomerates or social media.
